Mission Statement
Our mission as New Revelation Christian Church is to provide an atmosphere
in which people of all races and ethnicities, people of all denominational
backgrounds, people struggling with all manner of sin, and people
at all stages of spiritual growth and development can be motivated
in a spirit of love and fellowship to, through the rightly-divided
word of truth, grow into spiritually mature believers, perfected
in the revelation of Jesus Christ and activated into their various
spheres of Christian service.
The Vision
"...Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the
one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; it hastens
toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it
will certainly come..."
Habakkuk 2:2 (NASB)
The vision for the household of New Revelation Christian Church is as follows:
- To establish a congregation of true worshippers (John 4:23-25) who will usher in the perpetual
presence of the Lord in our services; for only in the Lord's presence is the liberty that we
seek (2 Cor. 3:17).
- To perfect the gifts (both spiritual and natural) and callings of the saints so that they will
be able to most effectively minister in their areas of skill and anointing.
- To provide a platform upon which ministers can gain proper exposure to the work of their ministry,
giving them invaluable experience in active ministry while under the safety of a pastoral covering.
- To build a youth facility that will serve as an outlet where children can find a Christian alternative
to worldly means of entertainment and support. This facility will house study halls, a tutoring
center, game rooms, a gymnasium, and a cafeteria/food court.
- To establish a youth-mentoring program where 18-24 yr. olds will have an opportunity to sponsor
at-risk youth in the community in an effort to minister not only to their spiritual need (which
is of utmost importance), but also to their natural needs, i.e. emotional support, practical
advice, and fellowship enforced with the love of Christ.
- To establish specialized support groups for Christians who are struggling with specific areas
of sin, for example: compulsive lying, hatred, pornography, homosexuality and effeminacy, promiscuity,
substance abuse, rage, etc.
- To plant churches throughout the state, nation, and ultimately the world, taking the gospel
of Jesus Christ wherever there are ears to hear.
